Amanda Owen, 48, and some of her nine children were hard at work making a “mounting block to put into a drystone wall” on the Yorkshire farm this week. The shepherdess shared photographs of the action to her 208,000 Twitter followers.
However, some were concerned about the tools the children were seen with without wearing goggles or protective gear.
In one photograph, Amanda’s daughter could be seen holding a crowbar over a chunk of wood.
In another, Amanda’s 18-year-old son Reuben was seen with an axe while her daughter could be seen in the background holding a hammer.
The Yorkshire Shepherdess captioned the post: “Chips off the old block!”
She also posted photographs of Reuben carving out a big piece of rock along with the message: “You rock Reuben!”
While many users took to the comments to praise the hard-working family, some shared their safety worries.
Wyn said: “Lovely work but as others have said he does need to wear the right protection and in this case eye protection, no good being brilliant if you lose the sight of an eye.”
Matt added: “Safety specs please,” and Jonathan wrote: “They should also wear protective gloves.”
Anita echoed: “Great job, Reuben! (Get some eye protection!),” and Elisabeth probed: “Surely they should be wearing safety goggles?”
Express.co.uk has contacted Amanda Owen’s representative for comment.
It comes after Amanda shared an update on her love life following her shock split from husband of 22 years, Clive.
The couple announced their separation in June and the reality star has now insisted that she is still happily single.

She told MailOnline: “I’m just getting on with my life as an independent woman, looking after the kids…and my sheep.”
Amanda also assured that “there was nobody involved in the break up”.
As for how family life has changed since their split, she continued: “We are co-parenting and the whole family is very happy.
“I was just with Clive this morning at the farmhouse where he lives and he then went off to sell a bull.
“There’s absolutely no problem between us. It’s been a very amicable split and we continue to work together.
“Everybody in the family is happy with the way things have turned out.”
It comes as her new series, Amanda Owen’s Farming Lives, launched last week.
The first episode is available to watch on 4.
