David Beckham told his wife Victoria Beckham she was "grumpy" and asked her to try her best to "come home" to him and their children "happier" in a note he shared with her packed lunch.
The retired footballer couldn't resist sending the cheeky note to his wife of 22 years attached to the front of her lunchbag.
He even jokily called her an "a**ehole" in a surprising insight into the couple's flirtatious and fun life together.
While David, 46, may not have been prepared for former Spice Girl Victoria, 47, to publicly share his message, that's exactly what she did.
Posting the snap on her Instagram stories, Victoria showed the note from her loving husband, which read: " Enjoy lunch ****hole…
"Come home happier," the sports star gently warned, adding a smiley face alongside his words.
"Lots of love you know who," David added on the post-it.
Victoria used the opportunity to apologise to her hubby, who had seemingly ignored his wife's morning attitude and whipped up a meal for her in their kitchen regardless.
"Even when I'm grumpy he looks after me!" Victoria shared on the image.
"Thank you for my lunch @davidbeckham."
The insight into the Beckham couple's surprisingly normal daily routine comes following a lavish holiday away in the sunshine.
Parents-of-four David and Victoria were joined by their children Brooklyn, 22, Romeo, 19, Cruz, 16, and Harper, 10, on the stunning getaway, where they also spent days in the sea on their £5million yacht named Seven.
Lots of family snaps and fun experiences emerged from the group trip, including images of David and Victoria cuddled up together in their beach-wear.
They also enjoyed a number of meals out as a family.
It comes as photographer Brooklyn shared a gushing tribute to his fiancee Nicola Peltz on her 27th birthday earlier this month.
