Love Island star Montana Brown made a stunning appearance at the 2021 MTV EMAs held in Budapest on Sunday.

The 26 year old looked a vision on the red carpet at the event wearing a white mini dress and billowing cape cinched at the waist with an embellished belt and strappy heels.

Montana was on hosting duties at the award show, but made sure to capture a few shots of her winning ensemble before getting back to work to interview celebrities.

Before arriving at the MTV EMAs, the reality star gave her 1.3 million followers a glimpse of her outfit on Instagram with a photo posted of her posing on her a well-lit stairway.

“Gettin’ ready, for the night of nights (name the film) make sure to tune into the MTV EMA’s tonight angels. You won’t regret it,” Montana captioned.

Excited to be getting on with her “dream job” at the show, at first, the TV personality was coy on what she would be doing at the event on social media, leaving fans guessing.

Montana stirred curiosity in a video uploaded by popular Brazilian blogger and presenter Hugo Gloss, who was also at the event, that showed her dancing around with a bouquet playfully.

“Here’s my bride Montana,” Hugo is heard saying in the clip. “You’re going to get married tonight.”

All became clear with the play on words as the former Love Islander also referenced the Brazilian personality as her “MTV EMA husband for the evening”, while they co-hosted on the red carpet.

“Hey guys its Montana here I’m reporting at the MTV EMAs at Budapest,” she later said in a video posted to MTV EMAs’ Instagram Stories.

“I’m going to be your insider, I’m going to be showing you who’s walking the carpet, I’m going to be showing you my favourite outfits.

“As you can hear the atmosphere is absolutely incredible….and away we go!”

After having her photographs taken on arrival, Montana switched on her professional hat and stood by as she waited for celebrities she could grab hold of and chat to.

In attendance at this year’s MTV EMAs was rapper Saweetie, model Winnie Harlow, Rita Ora and Years & Years frontman Olly Alexander – whom Montana was able to get a pouty shot with.

She missed out however on getting a photo with the one celebrity she had her eye on at the start of the event – Ed Sheeran – to which she let fans in on her disappointment of on Instagram.

“I’m super upset I did NOT get a selfie with Ed,” the presenter commented.

All in all, Montana’s hosting position was a success though as she later shared a selfie of her closing the night off with fellow MTV UK hosts Oobah Butler and Mia Boardman.
