It’s safe to say 2020 was a mess all around, however the year was particularly stressful for Kim Kardashian and her husband, Kanye West. During the summer, headlines blared about West’s mental health after the “All Falls Down” rapper took to Twitter to share his sporadic thoughts for hours on end. During these rants, he called his wife of six years “out of line” for meeting Meek Mill in 2018 to discuss criminal justice reform.

“I’ve been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf for ‘prison reform,'” the father-of-four tweeted in July 2020, according to People. “Meek is my man and was respectful That’s my dog Kim was out of line I’m worth 5 billion dollars and more than that through Christ But ya’ll ain’t listen to MJ and now ya’ll believe them???”

While this since-deleted tweet was the only mention of divorce on West’s end, it seems there’s a possibility of the star getting what he asked for. Keep scrolling for the latest details on the couple’s rumored “imminent” divorce.

Has Kim Kardashian filed for divorce?

On Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, news broke that there’s a possibility of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West ending their marriage. While no official paperwork has been filed, multiple sources (per Page Six) have reported that “divorce is imminent” for the high-profile couple.

A source revealed, “They are keeping it low-key but they are done. Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.” The source later added, “Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done.”

The source even shared Kim’s aspirations of becoming a lawyer and said she’s “serious about taking the bar exam.”

“She is serious about her prison reform campaign,” the source revealed. “Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s–t, and she’s just had enough of it.”

As of this writing, there has been no official statement from either Kardashian or West.
