Jana Kramer has filed to divorce Mike Caussin after six years of marriage.

The country music star took to her Instagram on Wednesday to address the split, revealing that she is trying “to make sense of a reality I never wanted to believe could be possible again.”

“I’ve fought y’all,” Kramer, 37, wrote. “I’ve loved hard. I’ve forgiven. I’ve put the work in. I’ve given everything I have, and now I have nothing else to give.”

Though Kramer said she still believes “wholeheartedly in marriage, love, and rebuilding,” she added that she “just can’t fight any longer.”

“It’s time to heal,” she continued. “Thank you for all the love, heart, and support, in many ways you have fought on this journey alongside me, and for that I am grateful. I’ll always encourage you to continue the good fight, but you can’t fight it alone.”

USA TODAY has reached out to Kramer’s reps for further comment.

The 34-year-old former NFL player has a history of infidelity; in 2016, the couple separated after it was revealed Caussin had been cheating on Kramer. The two later reconciled and said they were working on their marriage.
