Seven of Kim Kardashian's former employees are reportedly suing her for unpaid wages and workplace violations.
Several of the maintenance and cleaning crew who previously worked for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star have come forward to claim they were treated as independent contractors despite being told they were hired as full-time employees.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ, the workers also claimed that they were not paid on a regular schedule, not provided any pay stubs or reimbursed for expenses and not provided a system to record their hours, thus not being paid for their overtime.
They also alleged that they were not given any rest or food breaks.
One employee also claimed in the lawsuit that he asked about his rights and those of his son, who at the time was 16 but worked more than the maximum hours allowed for a minor under California labour law.
He claimed that he was immediately fired for speaking out and is now seeking damages and penalties along with the other workers.
Lawyer Frank Kim, who is bringing the case against Kim, said in a statement: "Wage theft and other workplace violations are a widespread problem in Los Angeles.
"My firm is currently investigating other potential violations against these defendants, as well as other powerful families and businesses on behalf of everyday workers."
However, billionaire Kim has insisted that a third party vendor is to blame for the worker's allegations.
A representative for Kim told DailyMail.com: "These workers were hired and paid through a third party vendor hired by Kim to provide ongoing services.
"Kim is not party to the agreement made between the vendor and their workers, therefore she is not responsible for how the vendor manages their business and the agreements they have made directly with their staff.
"Kim has never not paid a vendor for their services and hopes that the issue between these workers and the vendor who hired them can be amicably resolved soon."
OK! has contacted a representative for Kim for further comment.
This comes after Kim clashed with sister Kourtney over the treatment of her nanny.
