Cheryl shared a video which featured memories of their time together in award-winning band Girls Aloud. Many of the moments saw the duo joking and laughing together and performing on stage with fellow members Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts.

In view of her 3.5 million followers, Cheryl captioned the clip: “Memories may be all we’re left with, but they’re enough to last a lifetime. #Sarahs40th.”

Many of her fans flocked to her post to comment.

Sarah died following a battle with stage four breast cancer aged 39 in September.

The singer was diagnosed with the disease early last year and it later spread to other parts of her body.

Just weeks later, the Girls Aloud star was told Christmas 2020 would be her last.

The band mambers all paid tribute to Sarah following the sad news of her death, which was was announced by her mum on Instagram.
