Rod Stewart returned to the BRIT Awards stage Tuesday to perform the grand finale of the 2020 edition, which turned out to be a reunion with his Faces bandmates Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones.

The British rocker first performed “I Don’t Want to Talk About It” solo after telling host Jack Whitehall, “Jack — I’m gonna do this one for your mum, Hilary.”

“This show may be 40 years old, but the Faces are 50 years old,” the Faces lead vocalist said, referring to the founding of the English rock band in 1969.

“There used to be five of us, and now there’s three,” Stewart added before inviting Wood and Jones to the stage to close the show with their hit classic song, “Stay With Me.”

The three stars performed as the Faces at The BRIT Awards in 1993.
