The lawsuit withdrawal comes one day after the ‘Girls Trip’ actress reached a deal with the alleged victims, who accused the comedians of grooming and coercing them into filming explicit skit ‘Through a Pedophile’s Eyes’.

AceShowbizTiffany Haddish and Aries Spears are no longer being named as defendants in a child grooming lawsuit. One of the alleged victims, who goes by Jane Doe, has decided to dismiss the case for good.

According to new court documents obtained by TMZ on Tuesday, September 20, the plaintiff asked the judge to dismiss the case with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled in the future. In a statement, Jane said, “My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us.”

“We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us,” Jane, who accused Tiffany and Aries of allegedly grooming her and her younger brother when they were 14 and seven, respectively, continued. She did not have anything to say about Aries in her remarks, who was also accused of some pretty heinous stuff in the suit but he’s also in the clear.

The lawsuit withdrawal came one day after Tiffany reached a deal with Jane and John Doe. On Monday, September 19, Radar Online reported that the “Girls Trip” star and her accusers “worked out the deal privately.” According to court documents obtained by the outlet, they have reached a deal to “block the public from seeing the original complaint.”

It was said to have been Tiffany’s decision to take this to federal court where documents were sealed due to “several photographs of a minor John in an undressed state.” In the paperwork, the siblings stated that the 42-year-old actress/comic was friends with their mother and alleged that she would say she was taking the kids to auditions when “in reality she was having them film skits that were sexually inappropriate.”

Previously, the alleged victims agreed to settle the legal issue under one condition. “My brother and I are amenable to Plaintiff Haddish’s desire to engage in mediation/settlement talks,” Jane stated in court documents obtained prior to reaching the deal.

Jane further claimed to have reached out to Tiffany’s lawyer Clifton Albright that “laid out basic terms of the parties to engage in mediation/settlement talks.” She added that she has contacted Aries’ legal team as well but has not heard back.

Jane stated in the new paperwork that the mediation would have to be paid by Tiffany and “must take place in Las Vegas within the next two weeks.” She said “if we succeed in agreeing to a settlement,” she’s willing to put out a joint statement with Tiffany where “we state that the parties have agreed to a private settlement, and [Tiffany] must publicly apologize for her role in the skits.”

In addition to that, Jane urged Tiffany to recant her shakedown statement directed “towards our mother.” Jane, who is now 22 years old, also asked Tiffany to “state she never intended to harm my brother, mother and me.”

Tiffany and Aries were hit with child abuse lawsuit earlier this month. In the filing, the alleged victims accused the comedians of grooming her and her younger brother and coercing them into filming sexually explicit skit, “Through a Pedophile’s Eyes”, when they were children.

A few days after being hit with the lawsuit, the pedo sketch circulated on social media. Shortly after, the “Night School” actress released a statement, admitting that she regretted having agreed to act in the disturbing video.
