With the pandemic still ongoing this year and even had subsequent second wave towards the middle of the year, the film industry is still in lurch. That being said, the movie releases this year were much less compared to previous years because some producers decided to release their movies on some OTT platforms and some just decided to wait before releasing.
It is not surprising that the top five highest grossing movies in the list were all released in the second half of the year. With limited releases this year, the movie industry is still victorious with billions of dollars raked in from the movies. From Vin Diesel’s F9 to the last portrayal of Daniel Craig as James Bond in the movie No Time To Die, the list can be seen below. The action movie produced by 20th Century Studios is about a bank teller who discovered that he was actually a background player in a sort of open world video game, where he later on decided to become a hero of his own story.
