EastEnders viewers enjoyed not one but two episodes of the hit BBC soap on Tuesday evening, and it sure was a gripping watch.

In the first show we saw Rainie and Stuart visiting the fertility clinic and Rainie receives the news that she’s unable to have a baby.

Stuart suggests they try surrogacy, and so when Tiffany, played by Strictly Come Dancing star Maisie Smith, then tries to console Rainie, Tiffany is put in a unique situation.

Rainie asks Tiffany if she’ll consider being her surrogate and, if so, she says she’ll pay her the sum of £10,000.

However, Keegan, Tiffany’s husband, isn’t at all pleased by the proposition, which we see him discover in the second episode.

As a result, Keegan, played by Zack Morris, turns down the offer on his wife’s behalf, leading Tiffany to become enraged.

She tells Keegan it’s her body which makes it her decision whether or not to be a surrogate.

The episode draws to a close with Keegan coming around to understand Tiffany’s point, after advice from pal Mitch Baker.

As a result, they both agree to go ahead with the surrogacy, leaving Rainie and Stuart very happy indeed.

However, if it was all happily ever after in EastEnders then we wouldn’t be as obsessed as we are, and as the show drew to a close and the iconic music sounded, it became clear that Keegan wasn’t as happy as he was making out.

Maisie, 19, who is currently wowing on Strictly, recently dropped a huge hint that she plans to leave EastEnders.

The Tiffany Butcher actress has been on the soap since she was six years old, however the stunning red head has revealed she is keen to spread her wings and venture onto new things.

Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: “In the future I want to try new things and I want to play new characters, but for right now I’m happy because EastEnders want me still.”

Despite being keen to leave the comforts of Albert Square someday, the stunning actress admitted she isn’t quite ready to spread her wings and leave her family home yet.

After living alone for the first time as she trains for Strictly Come Dancing, she admitted: “I had to ring mum and ask how to use the washing machine.

“I’ve been eating fajitas every day because they’re the only things I can cook. But I have absolutely mastered them.

“No one will ever have fajitas that are better than mine.”
