When did Louisa and Ben meet?
The 32-year-old actress met businessman Ben in 2017 through a mutual friend with Louisa telling Fabulous magazine: “We clicked from the off and I just knew.”
When did they move in together?
Ben moved into Louisa’s flat just four months after meeting and in January the pair revealed they had moved into a three-storey home in north London.
The actress, who plays Ruby Allen in the BBC soap, revealed their gorgeous four-bedroom home with OK! magazine which is complete with a large open plan kitchen.
When did they get engaged?
Ben took Louisa to the Maldives as a 30th birthday present and got down on one knee in a surprise proposal in 2019.
Speaking exclusively to OK! magazine, Ben said: “I took Louisa to a quiet part of the island where I knew no one else would be around.
“I told her I wanted to fly my drone to get some aerial pictures of the island, although really I wanted it to capture a video of the moment I proposed.”
“As soon as I got it up in the air and reached to get the ring from the bag a cleaner walked past and was so mesmerised by the drone he was just stood next to us staring at it for ages.

“I had to wait for him to leave. The cleaner finally disappeared so I got a speaker out of my bag that I was going to use to play a song for when I proposed but the Wi-Fi signal was bad so I couldn’t get it to play.
“By this point I was so frustrated that I just grabbed the ring and got down on one knee!”
Louisa was shocked by the proposal and burst into tears upon seeing Ben pull out the ring.
She said: “When I saw him on one knee I started crying like a baby. I was so excited but my brain went into overdrive and I started freaking out. I had no idea he was going to propose.”
When is the wedding?
The couple have booked their wedding for July and plan to tie the knot in York, where Ben is from, after they had to postpone the big day last year due to the pandemic.
Speaking to OK! in January, Louisa said: “We’ve said that if we can’t have the exact wedding we want, with all our guests, we’ll postpone it again. Otherwise, to me that’s not a wedding – it’s not the wedding I would want.”
Do they have any pets?
The pair have a cockapoo named Riley with Louisa previously saying it was “good practise” for Ben before they become parents.
