LIDL is open as normal this weekend but will shut slightly earlier for the bank holiday Monday.
It's the last long weekend of spring this weekend and the second in a month.
The first May bank holiday was on Friday, May 8 for VE day. The next is on Monday, May 25.
While most shops are open as normal over the weekend, some will close earlier on Monday.
As store opening and closing times depend on the store, it's always worth checking the Lidl store finder to see the hours of your local branch.
Lidl opening hours for the late May bank holiday weekend
Lidl is open as normal on Saturday and Sunday but hours have changed for Monday.
The shop has made some changes because of the coronavirus outbreak. These include a traffic light system which shows when the shop is busiest.
Unlike other supermarkets, Lidl doesn't have any special special opening times for NHS workers or vulnerable or elderly shoppers.
It also didn't change its opening hours while other shops have been closing earlier.
