When a man tried to customise his McDonald’s burger using the Uber Eats app, his order went horribly wrong.

He attempted to remove the pickles and mustard from the meal.

But unfortunately, he accidentally deleted the patty and burger bun instead.

As you can imagine, the fast food box that arrived looked very unfortunate.

While he was “gutted” he couldn’t enjoy his burger, others have seen the funny side of the situation.

His wife couldn’t help but laugh and shared a snap of the burgerless meal on the Family Lockdown Tips & Ideas Facebook page.

She wrote: “Note to self – when ordering always double check what you’ve ordered from McDonald’s otherwise you could end up with this for tea like my hubby did last night.”

The post has garnered 3,200 likes and hundreds of comments.

One responder wrote: “Somebody didn't understand the customise section.”

Another said: “My partner has done this before but took everything off. They sent him the empty box bet they had a right laugh.”

And a third laughed: “Omg that’s hilarious.”

It's not the first time McDonald's customers have gone wrong when customising their meals.

When a lad edited his order to remove salad, he accidentally deleted the patty and bun too.

What he was left with was a box of ketchup – and his face was absolutely priceless.

Meanwhile, a woman ordered a Maccies when she was severely hungover.

She raised eyebrows with her picky decisions, which included axing the bun, burger, onions and mustard.
