Almost everything that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have said or done in recent months has become headline news. In fact, things are quickly spinning out of control for the royal couple, and they are having an extremely difficult time with the British tabloids.
There are rumors swirling regarding Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry, and it has even gotten to the point where they are considering a move away from the United Kingdom and the royal spotlight. It has been talked about over the past few weeks that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are likely bringing Archie to Los Angeles for his very first Thanksgiving so that they can introduce him to the American tradition.
Now that the holiday season is almost upon us, many fans are keeping an even closer eye on the royals. This leaves many people wondering: Was this a big factor in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Christmas plans?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are having a rough time right now
It is no secret the Duke and Duchess of Sussex haven’t been having the easiest time. They are coming off of a pretty bad summer right now, having come under fire for just about everything that they do, from Duchess Meghan’s skills as a new mother to the couple’s use of private jets as a preferred method of travel.
Fans, as well as the news media, are giving the couple a pretty hard time right now, and they have spoken up about the fact that enough is enough. In a documentary, Duchess Meghan opened up and said that she isn’t finding royal life to be as fair as she thought it would be. And, naturally, Prince Harry has been doing everything that he can to stand by his wife.
We can only imagine how overwhelmed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are right now, especially now that they have announced a six-week break from royal duties in order to spend some time away from the spotlight.

Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry have been pretty vocal about wanting their young son, Archie Harrison, to have as “normal” of an upbringing as possible. According to Vanity Fair, the couple feels that although they realize that Archie was born into royalty, they want him to be able to choose his own path through life.
In fact, all throughout Duchess Meghan’s pregnancy, she and Prince Harry have been full of surprises regarding the way they chose to go about things.
Duchess Meghan had originally opted for a home birth and the couple decided against the traditional photocall shortly after Archie’s arrival. In addition to all of this, Archie, unlike his cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, doesn’t have a royal title. Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry are going to great lengths to keep their son out of the royal fishbowl, as they feel pretty overwhelmed with it themselves.

It is only a few weeks until Christmas, and Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry are planning on possibly spending the holiday in private with Markle’s mother: Doria Ragland. Many fans are wondering if their plan to give Archie a private life may have been a factor in this, and we have to say that it seems that it most likely is.
If they were to stay with the rest of the royals, they know that they would be endlessly hounded by photographers and the press. Spending the holidays in a more private setting will give them the much-needed rest that they are looking for, and more importantly, will give them the opportunity to protect Archie.
