    Eddie Nketiah put himself in the frame for more game time under Mikel Arteta after his goal helped Arsenal beat Bournemouth in the FA Cup fourth round tie. 

    And now he has his sights on getting more minutes in red. 

    Speaking after the the win, Nketiah said: “Yeah it's nice to be back. I had a great experience out at Leeds, I learnt a lot.

    “The boss was really happy with me in what he saw. Obviously you want to play for Arsenal it's my dream to play for Arsenal, so I'm grateful for this opportunity.

    “I'm just happy to be back and get back out there.” 


    Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Arsenal are still in the market to sign players this month.

    Asked by BT Sport on Pablo Mari, the Gunners boss remained coy on the Spanish defender.

    He said: “We are in the market, the club is trying to facilitate one or two bodies with the resources we have.”

    The Gunners are in dire need of a new centre-back after Shkodran Mustafi went off injured in the second half.


    Arsenal advance into the fifth round of the FA Cup and they will face Portsmouth away.

    Shkodran Mustafi has left the pitch on a stretcher as Arsenal's defensive crisis intensifies.

    The German defender suffered a clash of heads with goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez when going up for a header.

    The incident happened in the 62nd minute, with the Gunners leading 2-0 and he was replaced by Rob Holding.

    With David Luiz still suspended, Mustafi's injury would leave boss Mikel Arteta with only Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Holding to choose from against Burnley on Sunday.
