  • DARREN BENT revealed that he believes that Kieran Tierney is “desperate” to move to Arsenal.

    The Gunners have already had two bids – the latter worth £25million – for the Celtic star rejected this summer.

    Speaking to Football Insider, Bentsaid: “He’s desperate to leave Celtic and join Arsenal in the Premier League, I’m sure of that. At the moment, it looks like it might be up in the air as Celtic want more money up front and Arsenal are reluctant to pay it.

    “You can’t blame Tierney for wanting to join Arsenal. Celtic are a massive club but he has won everything there and proved himself in the SPL. He will want to show he can do it in the world’s biggest league, and at a higher level.”

  • DANI ALVES is reportedly ready to return to Brazil and sign for Sao Paulo – ending Arsenal and Manchester City's interest in him.

    Unlike their European counterparts, the South American side offered Alves a three-year contract.

    According to Goal, that has won the day in the fight for his signature.

    They claim Alves has reached a verbal agreement with the team he supported as a boy.

    According to Gazzetta, Unai Emery has returned with an improved offer that would see Rugani move to the Emirates on a two-year loan, while they would also sign World Cup winner Khedira, who has played no part in Juve's pre-season.
