BORUSSIA DORTMUND are set to sign Ajax striker Sebastien Haller on a permanent transfer, according to reports.

The German giants have spent the past few months scouting a replacement for Erling Haaland, who officially joined Manchester City in a deal worth £51million last week.

And it appears they finally have their man.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Borussia Dortmund havereached an agreement with Ajax for the £30million transfer of Haller.

Personal terms between the club and the player have also been agreed.

BVB are now preparing the paperwork and a medical.

Haller enjoyed a very successful campaign with Ajax last season.

In 42 appearances across all competitions he scored 34 goals and recorded 9 assists.

He also played an integral part in helping Ajax to another Eredivisie title.

However, his goalscoring form was far from prolific before joining the Dutch side in 2021.
