THIS is the moment Riyad Mahrez's wife asked cops "don't you like to party?" as they raided a London home for breaching Covid rules.

Video footage shows Covidiot model Rita Johal, 28, surrounded by officers as they served her a fine for partying at the flat in London.

The model was with at least half a dozen people at the property on Friday night in videos she uploaded to her half a million Instagram followers.

They show at least ten Metropolitan Police officers quizzing the revellers as Rita asks them: “Guys is this what life is? Don’t you guys like to party anymore, guys?”

A female officer can be heard telling her: “Not during lockdown.”

Ms Johal then responds: “Guys, you can’t be all depressed in this world, we have got to be happy.”

The model then went on a bizarre rant, claiming “the one per cent is controlling us” before shouting: “We are all in this together!”

A cop is then told to give her a fine for the breach.

Rita captioned her videos: “Fine for being too hot. Loool we all got fined don’t worry about it sweetheart.”

Last night the City star’s estranged partner claimed the Metropolitan Police were “heavy handed” and did not apologise for the breach.

She told The Sun on Sunday: “Oh for God’s sake. There wasn’t a lot of people there, there was like five people.

“Why is this being run, what’s its purpose? To try and make my name look bad? Is that your guys’ plan?"

It is currently against the law to meet socially with family or friends unless they are part of your household or support bubble.

Anyone caught by cops breaking the rules faces a £200 fine for their first offence, doubling for further offences up to a maximum of £6,400.

Meanwhile, anyone who holds, or is involved in holding an illegal gathering of more than 30 people can be slapped with fines of £10,000.

Rita, who lives in a £2million mansion in Buckinghamshire, separated from Manchester City's Algerian star Riyad, 29, in 2019.

Together they have two children.
