THE star-studded new Racing League will pit the best of the best against each other – from racing and beyond.

Want to see QPR striker Charlie Austin try to outwit Frankie Dettori? You got it.

TalkSPORT legend Alan Brazil take on trailblazing Hayley Turner? Check.

Here, we run through each of the 12 teams taking part in the blockbuster £1.8million event.

Team 1

THIS lot, sponsored by racing auctioneers Thoroughbid, look sure to pay their way.

Both trainers are regulars at racing’s top table, with a feast of Group 1, Royal Ascot and Classic wins between them.

And it runs in the family — both Hannon and Balding took over their mighty stables from their legendary trainer dads.

In the saddle there’s dual champ Oisin Murphy, with Sean Levey and Hayley Turner at the top of their game.

There’s no weak link in this Thoroughbred line-up.

Team 2

TEAM Bullion Vault will be hoping they are counting their gold.

Their line-up features trainers based in the south, largely on the Downs and the Sussex coast.

Shrewdies Gary Moore and David Menuisier are dab-hands in handicaps and will already have a number of horses laid out for these pots.

They have a team of experienced jockeys, plus a rising star in Hector Crouch. Keep your eyes peeled, this team could sneak under the radar.

Team 3

THERE’S always a joke to be made about Yorkshiremen and their money but wherever there is a big pot on offer, you’ll find Richard Fahey and Tim Easterby.

Two of the best operators up north, the pair will have plenty of ammo.

The duo never miss a beat and they suit sponsors eToro well, who have built up over 20million users since they launched in 2007.

An online trading platform, eToro is a well-recognised brand across different sports and a good catch for racing.

Team 4

THE Greatest Of All Time? Maybe not . . . but this team has the firepower to trouble the leaderboard.

All Newmarket-based, the four trainers are relatively new to the game on racing’s grand scale, but have still made more than impact on and off the track.

Throw in former Premier League ace Charlie Austin as team manager.

He is no mug and has enjoyed success on the track with his ownership group Excel Racing.

Team 5

FORGET Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, this Biblical team are all about Roger, Alan, Martyn and Brian.

The four Wiltshire handlers make up Team ODDSbible and have plenty of experience between them.

Team manager Sam Sangster said: “We were all incredibly excited to hear of our sponsor.

Not only will they help bring a new audience to the sport but they will push our team to provide exciting content and show how thrilling racing can be.”

Team 6

YOU’LL never win anything with kids, goes the saying.

Well this Irish team is out to prove that all wrong with not one team member over the age of 30.

The O’Brien siblings had stellar careers in the saddle, riding heaps of big winners for their old man and one of the greatest of all time in Aidan O’Brien.

With travel restrictions easing, both trainers and jockeys should be able to make the trip without too much sweat.

Team 7

TEAM Arena won’t be in this for the fun of the fair.

Managed by two of the most clued-up broadcasters in the game, brothers Chris and Martin Dixon, these boys will have been planning for this months in advance.

Made up of trainers based in the north, they also have a seriously under-rated team of jockeys to call upon.

Sponsored by the owner of Windsor, Lingfield, Doncaster and Newcastle, this team are playing on home turf.

Team 8

LAMBOURN might be best known for the jumpers, but a new breed of trainers are changing that with success on the Flat.

Their four musketeers entered in the Racing League have all tasted success at the very top.

Add to the party a Derby-winning jockey Adam Kirby and one of the best apprentices around in Saffie Osborne.

Her dad, trainer Jamie, whose hilarious lockdown videos went viral, will provide the entertainment.

Team 9

THEY can talk the talk, but can they walk the walk?

Four of Newmarket’s finest team up and they’ll be hoping their expertise can get them over the line. They’re not short of firepower in the jockey department, either.

But what could be the highlight of this team is witnessing racing mad radio host Alan Brazil, team manager alongside Rubert Bell, dishing out advice to the likes of Roger Varian. Now that will be worth paying to see.

Team 10

ENGLAND hero Mick Channon has been busy cheering on the Three Lions most of the summer.

But now he’s focused on finishing top of the Racing League.

Together with father-and-son team Paul and Oliver Cole and bubbly Eve Johnson Houghton, they shouldn’t be overlooked.

Their team of talented young strikers will wear red and white, the colours Channon starred in for Southampton. It might just be a good omen.

Team 11

ANOTHER Newmarket team, but not in the traditional sense. George Boughey and James Ferguson are two of the newest names in town, while William Knight only moved in last year.

Stuart Williams will have to show them the best spots, having been at his yard since 2004.

You won’t miss them on the track either, the pink silks will be one of the easiest to spot.

And the talented trio of jockeys are also in the pink.

Team 12

IF it’s star names you’re after, look no further.

Thankfully for the other 11 teams, the prizes aren’t handed out before the six weeks of racing.

This Newmarket quartet have all angles covered. Sprint king Robert Cowell, handicap whizz Sir Mark Prescott and John Gosden will have his arrows lined up to perfection.

Throw in three of the best jockeys in the business. This team might as well be renamed The Dream Team.
