Travis Kelce had an impressive outing on Sunday night.
The tight end helped lead the Kansas City Chiefs to a 22-16 win against the Denver Broncos while racking up 136 receiving yards and a touchdown at Arrowhead Stadium.
Kelce, however, made one rather important slip in his postgame interview with NBC’s Michele Tafoya.
He didn’t know which team he had just beaten.
Travis Kelce: ‘Hats off to the Raiders’
Right off the bat, Kelce confidently mixed up the Broncos with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Oops.
In his defense, he had just come off a historic performance.
Kelce has now recorded 613 receiving yards over the past five games, the most by a tight end in that span since 1970. His 136 receiving yards on Sunday brought him to more than 1,000 on the season, too — which officially gave him his fifth straight 1,000-yard season. He is now the first tight end in NFL history to accomplish that feat.
With those numbers, a slip like that can easily be overlooked. And he seemed to take it well on Twitter, too.
Playas mess up too… 😂😂🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

The interview wasn’t a total loss, either. Kelce left fans with one rather interesting sound bite.
