Tammy Slaton married her partner Caleb Willingham in a low-key ceremony at the weight loss clinic where they met in November last year, and fans can’t wait to see more of the big day in 1000lb Sisters. However, their quick turnaround has led some TLC viewers – and even Tammy’s own family – to wonder if there was another reason for tying the knot.

Tammy was seen having an intense chat with her family about her quick engagement in new footage from the coming season.

Currently in its fourth instalment, the Slatons are in the middle of wedding preparation for the ceremony which took place last year.

In one clip, Tammy is asked: “I’m going to ask the question that all four of us [are] really dying to really want to know. Are you pregnant?”

After being pressed by her sister Amy, she replies: “No one’s having a shotgun wedding!”

Tammy was clearly blindsided by their suggestion, as she later expressed her surprise in a confessional.

“What the heck?” she exclaimed. “I ain’t pregnant. This is crazy.

“I can’t believe my family thinks I’m getting married because I’m pregnant. They’re stupid.”

She tells her family the quick engagement is simply down to the guest she and Caleb want to attend the ceremony at the clinic.

“I get it and we both understand, but people here would like to come, my friends, the family we’ve made here,” Tammy explains.

Amy later told the cameras: “Thank God. Next step is to get on birth control.”

While their brother Chris admitted: “It’d save a whole lot of a**-aches. I’m talking about a whole lot of headache. Hassle.”

However, the interrogation didn’t stop as Tammy’s family couldn’t help but inquire about the couple’s sex life.

One family member asked: “When you and Caleb be hugging and kissing on each other, y’all be rubbing trachs together?”

Tammy rolled her eyes and laughed, and quipped: “I can’t stand you.”

In her confessional, she added: “I’m nervous. I just want my family to support me and be happy for me. It’s my life and I should get what I want.”

According to Tammy’s Facebook page, she and Caleb are still together after saying their vows at the end of 2022.

However, there have reportedly been some issues with their relationship due to their current long-distance situation.

After Tammy left rehab in February, Caleb initially planned to move to a new clinic to be with her, but a source claims he hasn’t been able to make those arrangements yet.

“Tammy is sad her husband is not with her,” the source told The Sun.

“She is frustrated Caleb has not made an effort to move to a facility in Kentucky from Ohio. They have been arguing because she feels he is not handling the transfer with urgency.”

1000lb Sisters season 4 continues Tuesdays on TLC in the USA. A UK release date is yet to be announced.
