Dani Dyer’s guest appearance in EastEnders is set to air at the same week her boyfriend Sammy Kimmence faces jail.

Dani filmed her scenes for the BBC One soap with her dad Danny – who plays Mick Carter – and will be a one-off appearance.

However, on April 19, Sammy pleaded guilty to scamming to pensioners out of £34k.

He was due to stand trial the same day having previously denied all charges. Sammy admitted posing as a financial investor to commit fraud and the judge warned that as the offences were so serious, he could face jail.

His sentencing happens to be the same week Dani’s scenes will air in EastEnders.

A source said: ‘Dani has always wanted a part in EastEnders, so to get the opportunity to film a few scenes with her dad was a dream come true. She was buzzing to be on set with her dad and didn’t care that she’s only going to be in it for a few minutes.

The whole family were all so excited but then Sammy pleaded guilty and got given his date for sentencing. Sadly, for Dani, it’s all happening the same week.’

EastEnders film scenes eight weeks in advance and unfortunately nothing can be done about the timings.

The victims were said to have been previous clients at a legitimate investment company where Sammy Kimmence previously worked.

Portsmouth Crown Court heard he took clients on when the business stopped operating, falsely claiming he was able to provide financial services.

Dani and Sammy’s son Santiago was born in January.
