TV presenter Emma Willis couldn’t contain her emotions as she received a video message from her husband Matt while undertaking a challenge for Red Nose Day. Along with Rylan Clark and Oti Mabuse, the star spent four punishing days and three freezing nights trekking between Braemar and Cairn Gorm in the Scottish Highlands. While she survived the test of willpower, determination and survival skills, the call from home broke her.

Frozen: Emma, Oti and Rylan’s Red Nose Day Challenge, followed the trios epic journey for Comic Relief.

Viewers watched as they stopped for the night at one point, and each received video messages from a loved one.

Emma’s husband, Busted star Matt, had recorded a special greeting for her.

Sitting in what looked like a home office with bookshelves behind him he began: “Hi baby, it seems so bonkers what you’re doing right now.

“We’ve always told the kids that they can do anything they want and you’re proving that to them by doing this and they’re very impressed with their mum,” he gushed.

“And I’m very impressed with my wife, you’re the most incredible person I’ve ever met in my life, you’ve got this. We love you.”

Emma visibly welled up watching the sentimental greeting and also impressed her co-stars.

They declared it was “so lovely” as Rylan added: “Cor, you got a good one, didn’t you?”

The pair met in 2004 while Matt was in Busted and Emma was working as a TV presenter for MTV.

He popped the question in 2007 after two years of dating and they have been married since 2008.

In July 2018 they renewed their wedding vows to celebrate 10 years of marriage.

They are proud parents to three children Isabella, Ace and Trixie.

Rylan and Oti also received much appreciated messages from home.

Rylan’s mum Linda Clark, sent him a greeting in which she said: “We’re all proud of you and I know you can achieve this because everything you have achieved is marvellous.”

He joked: “She’s only done that to show off her new wallpaper” before adding “she’s the best”.

Meanwhile Oti’s message was from her sister and fellow dancer Motsi Mabuse, who told her: “What you’re doing is incredible and I know certainly you’re a lion, you’re a fighter, you will make it up and to the end.”

Viewers at home also offered their support taking to Twitter to praise the trio.

One fan with the username @hollyoak_emily wrote: “Watching @Rylan @EmmaWillis and @OtiMabuse and I’m so proud of you all and all of the money you all have raised for comic relief.”

@evilcheltdevil said: “I couldn’t climb a mountain like @EmmaWillis, @Rylan and #OtiMabuse, so I’ve donated some wonga instead. #ComicRelief #RedNoseDay.”
