Lisa Riley fought back tears as she opened up about losing her beloved mum Cath nine years ago on Monday's Lorraine.

The Emmerdale star's mother, Cath, tragically passed away in 2012 aged just 57 following a battle with cancer.

Lisa joined Lorraine Kelly to discuss her new podcast, Grief Kind, and explained how there is "no timetable" for grieving a loved one.

“But she did it and she was there so that forever, I can remember that for my birthday she made that effort.
