INSECURE star Issa Rae married her longtime love Louis Diame in a fairytale wedding in the South of France over the weekend.

The 36-year-old actress revealed the exciting news on social media Monday with a few stunning snaps from the ceremony.

Issa wrote in the caption: “A) Impromptu photo shoot in a custom @verawang dress.

“B) My girls came to help me, but they all coincidentally had on the same dress! They were sooooo embarrassed.

“C) Then I took a few flicks with Somebody’s Husband.

“Big thanks to @whiteedenweddings for being so gracious and accommodating and making this feel so real and special.”

The actress had been keeping her engagement relatively quiet, but she first sparked speculation while wearing what looked to be an engagement ring on the cover of Essence magazine's April 2019 issue.

Issa deflected, though, when asked about a possible engagement on The View shortly after the cover came out, not wanting to confirm anything.

"I've got a lot of rings on my finger," she said. "I wear jewelry, you know?"

Previously, she explained to Vogue why she didn't speak out much about her relationship with Louis, a Senegalese businessman.

"I don’t want any input," Issa said. "As a writer, you put everything on the table."

She continued: I’ll take input on kids if I’m going to have kids. How do I not kill the kids? Work? Give me the input.

"Any other aspect of my life? Give me the input. But who I’m f***ing? No, I don’t need input. I’m good.”

Eagle-eyed fans have traced the couple's romance back to at least 2012.

Issa earned a lot of recognition after her HBO series Insecure, which she co-created and stars in, was first released, but she first garnered attention for her work on the YouTube web series Awkward Black Girl.

In 2007, she graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts in African and African-American Studies.

In 2018, the 36-year-old was included in the annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world.

Despite Insecure wrapping up soon, Issa has a lot on the horizon as her production company, Hoorae, signed a five-year film and television deal with WarnerMedia earlier this year.
