Bosses at Love Island have denied reports that Millie Court and Liam Reardon' Hideaway visit was cut for being "too raunchy for TV".

The couple's night of passion was claimed by sources to be "too X-rated" to be shown on television, allegedly prompting "miffed" producers to cut the scene entirely from the show, The Sun reported.

However, a spokesperson for the dating show has now denied the claims as they insisted: "This is completely untrue."

The Welsh bricklayer, 21, was chosen to spend the night together in the Hideaway with the fashion buyer's administrator, 24, who put on a racy PVC nurse's outfit to rub oil on Liam's bottom.

An insider said that things quickly escalated, telling the publication: "They romped over the bed covers, and it went on for ages.

"The footage was quite explicit, and producers were miffed because they couldn't air any of it.

"Millie spent a long time straddling Liam and stripped off her nurse's outfit," the insider continued.

It was added by the insider that the scene had to be "cut cleverly" by "creative video editors" for viewers at home.

Ahead of their night together in the Hideaway, Millie said in the Beach Hut: "It's going to be nice to be away from everybody and have some alone time. I think it'll be really nice.'

Elsewhere, Liam said: 'I'm really looking forward to it. It'll be nice to have some time to ourselves."

Needless to say, the pair have undoubtedly formed a strong connection, with Millie admitting that she was "falling in love" with Liam.

Liam was previously partnered with Faye Winter, who is now in a pairing with new boy Teddy Soares.

Love Island continues tonight at 10pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
