Nicola Roberts has hinted at the identities of the three remaining Masked Singer UK contestants Badger, Robin and Sausage.

The former Girls Aloud songstress won the first series of the popular ITV show and she was unveiled as being the powerhouse vocalist underneath the Queen Bee costume.

She will return to the show on Saturday night but this time on the judging panel alongside regulars Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan.

Ahead of this weekend's final, Nicola teased that she "instantly" knew the identity of one of the final three masked stars.

Speaking to the Mirror, the 35-year-old pop star said: "I knew instantly who it was. I was just freaking out that they were on the show."

She also went on to reveal that she was a childhood fan of one of the mystery trio.

Daily Star revealed last week that Nicola was set to make a comeback to the wackiest show on telly.

An insider said: "Producers thought it would be really fun to have Nicola back on the show. She was thrilled to be asked and jumped at the chance to return."

"Nicola knows what it’s like to perform inside one of the costumes and try to keep the panel guessing.

"And she knows better than anyone what the contestants are thinking. Producers were hoping that would mean she could approach the game from a different angle and come up with some good guesses."

Comedians Alan Carr and Matt Lucas have appeared on the panel over the past two weeks.

The Masked Singer is currently the biggest show on telly, with episodes pulling in eight million viewers.

Leaving fans in amazement each week, the second season has already unmasked a slew of dazzling celebrity crooners.

Spice Girls icon Mel B and pop sensation Sophie Ellis-Bextor were booted out in the first two weeks of the competition.

Comedian Lenny Henry, EastEnders legend Martine McCutcheon and football hero Glenn Hoddle followed them out the door.

Singer Gabrielle was unveiled as Harlequin last weekend and television presenter Sue Perkins revealed herself as Dragon.

The pair missed out on a spot on the final leaving it down to just Badger, Robin and Sausage.

Aston Merrygold, Sheridan Smith, and Ne-Yo are just some of the guesses fans have predicted ahead of the grand finale.

Who will be crowned the winner of series two?
