Strictly Come Dancing week four saw the remaining nine celebrities and their partners take to the floor. Some thrived in the latest outing while others failed to win the judges affections with their latest routines. Here’s what you need to know about who left in the latest outing.
Who left Strictly Come Dancing tonight?
Saturday night saw the nine remaining couples perform a new set of dances on the show.
At the top of the leaderboard were Clara Amfo and Aljaz Skorjanec after their Charleston wowed the judges.
At the other end of the scale were Max George and Dianne Buswell who scored 20 points and JJ Chalmers and Amy Dowden who earned 17 points.
Then, in Sunday night’s episode of the show, the competition tightened up as another couple was sent home.
As a result of the public vote as well as the judges’ scores, two couples were chosen once again to face the dance-off.
The lowest-scoring couples were Maisie Smith and Gorka Marquez along with Max and Dianne.
Both then performed their routines once again for the judges to decide who to save.
Max and Dianne performed their American Smooth to It Had to Be You.
Maise and Gorka took to the dancefloor with their Cha Cha to Girls Just Want to Have Fun.
Despite improvements for both of the couples, it was Max and Dianne who were sent home.
This is because both Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke both chose to save Maisie and Gorka.
Craig said: “Both couples were more concentrated and both couples took the notes we had given them and showed improvement. But the couple I’d like to save, Maisie and Gorka.”

While Anton added: “Well, I have to say it’s so close. They were both immaculate through that dance.
“It literally was just the smallest timing. For me, I’m going to have to save Maisie and Gorka.”
This meant the decision was made before Shirley Ballas gave her judgement but she did admit she would have saved Max and Dianne.
Both Max and Diane were disappointed to leave the show but thankful to have taken part.
Max told Tess: “I’ve loved it. It’s all down to Dianne, she’s been literally amazing.
“For me to get through 90 seconds of a dance for four weeks now is a credit to her, she’s just unbelievable.
“I’ve got to say, all these guys over here are the nicest group of people ever. I love you all!”
Dianne also opened up about how much she enjoyed dancing with Max.
She said: “I think Max has done an absolutely amazing job.
“He has done four incredible dances and I know how nervous you get, but you’ve come out here every week.
“I know you always say you want to do me proud and oh my goodness you’ve done me more than proud – so well done.
“I also want to say thank you to the judges, Anton, you were incredible tonight. Thank you so much.”
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One on Saturdays and Sundays.
