Daily Star’s Inside Hot TV newsletter sees Ed Gleave send you telly’s hot takes straight to your inbox every Sunday

Tipping Point fans were in for a treat when they tuned into Monday afternoon’s episode after viewers swooned over a contestant who tried his luck against the coin-pushing machine.

As Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard introduced the latest batch of quizzers, it was young David who seemed to catch the eye of the ITV viewers at home.

Due to Ben’s recent injury, the episode is a repeat from back in September last year while the game show host recovers from his footballing accident.

But it appears as though the public were just as taken with the Brummy hunk as they were last year as fans cheered him on all the way to the final.

Throughout the show David had tongues wagging as viewers shared their opinions of the latest money winner online.

Dressed in a blue denim button-down shirt, fans couldn’t help but comment on his good looks as he fired through the difficult quick-fire round.

One user wrote: “David is cute AF,” while another agreed: “David on today’s Tipping Point has a lovely smile. So cute!”

A third penned: “David can drop over my zone any day of the week,” as another chimed in with: “David can suspend me any day of the week.”

Elsewhere, fans were applauded the young man for the excellent game and his use of the prize money after the show.

The Birmingham native took home a grand total of £3,745 and told viewers at home how he planned to spend the money on a plane ride with his father to mark his 60th birthday.

Following the touching gesture, fans couldn’t help but swoon over sweet David as he proudly took home his grand prize.

One fan said: “What a brilliant way to spend the cash prize, extremely envious of David and his ride on the spitfire.”

Another added: “£3,745 is enough for a spitfire ride with his old man.”

“David is the only one who dropped the counter at the correct time,” said one user.

Finally, a final user commented: “I’m pulling for David simply because he knows when to drop the counters.”

Tipping Point continues each weekday at 4pm on ITV1.
