The Death Row Record rapper, whose real name was Vince Edwards, collaborated with the late legend Tupac.

Who was rapper CPO Boss Hogg?

CPO Boss Hogg, 52, was most known for his time working with Death Row Records.

He is also known for his collaborations with the famous late rapper Tupac.

When he first entered the rap world he was under the name Lil Nation, he then changed it to CPO Boss Hogg.

Boss Hogg worked on the Tupac album All Eyez On Me on the track Picture Me Rollin.

The late rapper also worked with the ultra famous rap group N.W.A and was featured on tracks such as Findum, F**kem, and Flee by N.W.A.

In a previous interview, Hogg spoke on the rapper Tupac.

"Pac did more for me than anybody else," he said.

Hiphopdx reports that Boss Hogg said that he was compensated $37,000 for the song with Tupac, and that it was one of the highlights of his career.

How did CPO Boss Hogg die?

According to the rapper's cousin, Boss Hogg reportedly died on Thursday, January 13, 2022.

The exact cause of his death has not yet been confirmed.

"Boss Hogg C.P.O. Vince Edwards Times with you were cherished. Rest well Big cousin," Clank Rivers wrote on Facebook.

Friend and journalist Chad Kiser posted a photograph of the two.

"Rest In Paradise CPO. Thank you for the talks, the support, and the encouragement! You will be missed!"

People took to social media to express their grief on the news of the late rapper's reported passing.

"Can’t believe I’m saying this. Rest In Peace to another west coast rap legend. CPO Boss Hogg," one user wrote.

The Rock The Bells official Twitter account also released a statement in light of the news.

"Rock The Bells is saddened to hear about the passing of CPO. "Boss Hogg" had one of the smoothest and most distinct voices in Hip-Hop. He was a gifted storyteller, and by all accounts an exceptional human being. Condolences to his loved ones #RIPCPO#BalladOfAMenace," the tweet read.
