Our Yorkshire Farm is a popular documentary series that has been airing on Channel 5 for four seasons. The show follows the Owen family on their busy farm and fans have loved gaining insight into their everyday lives. Here’s all we know about why the series is not on tonight.

Why is Our Yorkshire Farm not on tonight?

Fans were left confused last week (June 1) when they missed out on an episode of their favourite documentary series.

Our Yorkshire Farm has continued to develop a huge UK fan base, and viewers have loved following the Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen and her family.

The episodes usually drop at 9pm on Tuesday nights, but there has been a slight shake-up in Channel 5’s schedule.

The final episode of season four is yet to air, but it has been delayed due to other shows taking its regular slot.

Instead, the final episode of the two-part series Fred and Rose West: The Search for the Victims will air.

With no news on when the finale will air, fans have been wondering whether the show has been cancelled.

Amanda Owen reassured her fans that the show had not been dropped and that they would be back on air later in the year.

As the primetime evening slot is so popular, the network has been sharing it equally between different shows.

The Anne Boleyn series proved to be a huge hit, and the Fred and Rose West documentary has sparked plenty of interest.

Still, this has not stopped fans from expressing their disappointment over the shakeup.

One said on Twitter: “I am so upset to have not seen you all on channel 5 this week. We have the show on series link and usually watch on Wednesday.

“However, the grandchildren were here and we’ve sat down tonight after they set off home to watch and we’re not happy at all!!! Get a grip Channel 5!!”

Another said: “Absolutely ridiculous that your last episode was postponed!! Someone from Channel 5 program scheduling must have had a bad day!!

“Really missed seeing you all!! Have resorted to watching the whole set of series again for the umpteenth time!! Hope you are all back soon!!”

Amanda Owen thanked her fans for their support, saying on Twitter: “This means a lot”.

The shepherdess has reiterated the positive relationship her family has with the network.

The TV guide for next week (June 15) suggests the finale will not be airing, with an episode of Hoarders taking its place instead.

Hopefully, more information on the finale release date will come to light soon as fans are keen to find out more about the future of the series.

Another viewer said: “My 12 year old daughter and I sat down for a girly evening tonight – we scrolled through Netflix and all sorts, and the only thing we both wanted to watch was your wonderful programme.

“We just love it. Thank you for sharing your family’s life with us!”

The series has continued to receive praise for giving the public insight into real family life on the hectic farm.

Another fan added: “I watch your show on catch up repeatedly & I absolutely love it. It’s wholesome & heartwarming.

“We need to see more of you & the family Amanda especially the old soul that is Clive, definitely not less.”

There is no holding back when it comes to sharing every detail of the children’s lives, and fans have watched them experience all sorts of trials and tribulations.

Amanda is active on Instagram and viewers can continue to check her profile for the latest family updates.
