Denver will have a few days of windy weather this week before midweek snow is likely Wednesday.

Monday will be mostly sunny with a high of 55 degrees and winds of about six to 13 mph. Gusts could reach up to 21 mph in Denver. On the plains, winds will reach gusts of about 40 mph, and the foothills could see 60 mph gusts.

The high country is seeing some light snow, mainly in the northern Front Range and Park Range mountains, that will last through the afternoon.

Monday night’s low is 27 degrees in Denver, and winds will be about the same as during the day.

Denver will see winds pick up Tuesday, with gusts as strong as 41 mph possible. The high is expected to be a bit lower at 50 degrees.

On Tuesday night, the low is 21 degrees, and winds could gust up to 29 mph.

Wednesday will bring another midweek snowfall, but it is expected to be light in Denver. There is a 30% chance of snow after 11 a.m., then the chance increases to 60% by 11 p.m. The snow chances continue through Thursday morning.

Slightly lower temperatures are also expected, as the Wednesday high is 44 degrees and the Thursday high is 39 degrees. Lows will stay in the low 20s on both days.

Friday and Saturday will be back to mostly sunny days, but temperatures will stay in the mid-40s range.
