A worn-out wife whose 64-year-old husband found a new lease of life after he bought a batch of 'natural Viagra’ that supercharged his sex drive decided to take her complaints to thel police.

The 43-year-old woman told officers in Chachoengsao province, Thailand, that her horny husband was demanding sex up to seven times a day.

The woman, whose name was not given by local media, became emotional as she told police that she initially enjoyed her husband’s new-found virility.

She said they hadn’t had sex in some time, and her husband’s discovery that raw coconut water had reinvigorated his libido they both enjoyed the rekindling of their love life.

However, she said that after a while the man's high sex drive began to wear her out and added that she was being dragged into the bedroom by her lustful husband several times a day.

She claimed that the partner's sexual behaviour started when he discovered that drinking fresh coconut water could help with boosting his libido.

Now, the woman said that her husband appeared to be addicted to the juice from a local stall and wouldn't stop asking her to make love every day.

She said: 'Finishing two rounds is not enough for him. If he is still not satisfied, he wants to go again three or four more times right after.

'Even after doing it several times in the day, he would also ask me to do it again before bedtime.'

The wife was consoled by the police officers and later returned home to see if she could fix the problem with her husband by talking. Officers told her it was a domestic problem that they should sort out between themselves.

After the couple's story hit Thai news, the coconut stand was swamped by demand from locals who were convinced that the juice was a miracle natural Viagra.

Wandee Paoponpreuk, 43, the stall's owner, said some customers would drink four full coconuts in front of her shop after hearing the news.

She said: 'There are customers who will come in and drink four coconuts right in front of the shop because they wanted to know if it would cause them to be fit like the 64-year-old uncle.'

Wandee added that coconut juice is affordable because they are mostly grown in local gardens and sold at 20 Baht (around 50 pence) a coconut.

Doctor Kampanant Pornyokrai from the local hospital said that drinking coconut water could boost testosterone resulting in increased sexual desire in men, but more research is needed to prove its efficiency.

She said: 'There still has to be more research done on this matter before we can say its effects, but it can boost testosterone, a male hormone.'
