This is the moment a nimble grandmother caught her four-month-old grandson as he tumbled out of the babysitter’s arms.
CCTV footage filmed in the city of Changchun in Jilin Province, China, on November 5 captured the boy wriggling, causing the babysitter to lose her grip on him.
Before the baby can land headfirst on the hard floor, his grandmother extends her arms and snatches him out of the air.
The baby went tumbling headfirst towards the hard floor, saved only by his grandmother’s fast reactions. The moment was captured on CCTV in the city of Changchun in Jilin Province
The boy did not suffer any injuries, thanks to his grandmother’s agility.
His father told local media the boy had been shaken up emotionally by the incident but was otherwise unharmed.
The boy’s brush with danger parallels a moment caught on CCTV in Handan, Hebei province, on October 11 when a mother used a broom to save her son from tumbling out of his stroller onto concrete.
The mother, who was sweeping the courtyard at the time, noticed in the nick of time that her toddler was headed for a fall down the stairs.
As the little boy’s walker falters at the top of the stone steps, threatening to spill him out headfirst onto the concrete, the mother dashes across the courtyard and uses her broom to stop him falling out.
