A drug investigation lead authorities to an illegal operation that was manufacturing guns, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
On Wednesday, search warrants were served in the 2000 block of Huntington Circle, Fort Collins, and the 5900 block of Pecos Street, Denver, according to a news release.
“Firearms manufacturing equipment, firearms, and firearms parts were seized including an illegal short shotgun,” the sheriff’s office said. “Suspected methamphetamine, heroin, and ecstasy were seized as well. Stolen property was also recovered.”
The investigation is ongoing and future arrests are anticipated, according to the release. Multiple local and state law enforcement agencies are involved in the case, including the North Colorado Drug Task Force.
