Prince Harry and Meghan Markle still have not given any indication whether they intend to accept the invitation to attend King Charles III ’s coronation in just over eight weeks.
But royal expert Kinsey Schofield believes the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could have a headline-grabbing surprise up their sleeves for the big day.
Whether or not they attend the once-in-a-lifetime event, Harry and Meghan will have a good reason to mark that particular day.

As well as May 6 being the day that Harry’s father is officially crowned, it’s also the day that their son Archie turns four.
And Kinsey thinks there could be a surprise in store for royal fans: "I really think if we see anything around the Coronation,” the To Di For Daily host said, “that would be a photo of Archie.
She told the Express: “We haven't seen very much of Archie so that would be big news if we actually got to see him around the Coronation, which is on his birthday."
While many photos were taken of Archie as a baby when his parents were still working royals, few have been released since the family moved to the US. Only one picture has been released showing the Duke and Duchess together with both their children, Archie and Lilibet.

The picture was shared alongside a plea for donations to help poorer nations access Covid vaccinations, and reportedly raised some $3million.
Harry and Meghan said in a statement: “We cannot think of a more resonant way to honour our son’s birthday. If we all show up, with compassion for those we both know and don’t know, we can have a profound impact.”
A similar photo in aid of good causes could well materialise this year, Kinsey thinks.

Or, it’s equally possible that Archie and his little sister Lilibet will attend the coronation.
Expert Gareth Russell suggested earlier this year that King Charles had extended the invitation to his grandchildren.
He told US Weekly: "We do know King Charles III has kept the invitation to the Coronation open.
"And he's made it really clear that not just the Duke of Duchess of Sussex but also Lilibet and Archie are very welcome in London in May for his coronation."
