TikTok's most famous stripper has faced backlash after being accused of making up stories about sex work in a bid to gain followers.

Know as "ItsImperial" – the social media star has 1.9 million followers and often her wild stories have gone viral.

The 18-year-old shares stories about life as a sex worker and the industry she is part of.

However, veteran TikTok strippers started to question her stories after noticing inconsistencies.

Three weeks ago others began challenging her narrative and started to ask more questions, reports Insider.

In one video, she recalls running into her dad while she was performing at a party, in another story she claims wives were throwing bottles of £450 perfume at her.

She even revealed a client threw human faeces at her while she was performing a lap dance.

Referring to her video, user StripperYoga, who has been working for 11 years in the industry and has 12,100 followers, posted a clip and questioned ItsImperial's legitimacy.

She said: "Have jealous girlfriends shown up at the club looking to fight a stripper? Absolutely. Has a stripper dad ever shown up at the club their child is working? Very likely. Has a stripper ever had human faeces thrown at her while performing? Maybe.

"Has any one performer had all of these horrible things and then some happen to them within their first year of stripping? I hope the f*** not."

Critics have questioned her stories due to her age, as she claims to have turned 18 in April which would mean she has only been legal to work for seven months.

However, Imperial responded: "I started dancing at age 17, I was taken advantage of as a minor, and I was manipulated into becoming a stripper.

"Yes, I stuck with being a stripper. Yes, I still love my job. I stuck with being a stripper because it's what I know how to get good money."

Speaking to Insider, one TikToker said they have tried to confront Imperial about her videos after seeing inconsistencies such as stripper terminology and her timeline.

Babyskripper, who has 22,000 followers, said in a video: "The fact that people want to defend her stories because they find them entertaining is really upsetting.

"Consuming violent abuse against sex workers as entertainment is why our job is dangerous. Though she's making up these stories, she's contributing to the problem. If not, she's in danger and she needs help."

Other TikTokers said they had doubts after she said her heels, which she had used for more than a year were scuff free.

They even noticed her pole was incorrectly installed in her room.

ItsImperial's TikTok account could not be found, however an account under the same name says "lies by imperial" and consists of videos debunking her claims.

Reports suggest her videos may be now set to private on the social media platform.
